Duke VanCampen, MS, BSN, RN co-owns and operates Guardian Home Care and Hospice, a local agency providing home care, hospice, mental health, outpatient therapy, assisted living, and health care consulting services. Mr. VanCampen is an experienced healthcare professional; with a degree in Eldercare Administration and an administrator’s license for the State of Idaho, and an active RN license in Idaho and Oregon. He is involved with several committees and boards that advocate for providers and consumers within the industry. He provides guest lectures in surrounding states and local organizations, covering a wide array of topics dealing with care of elders.
His focus is community-based nursing, emphasizing the need for continuity of care during all aspects of a consumer’s health care experience. He understands the increased workload, paperwork and compensation issues that impede cooperative efforts among health care professionals.
